Emily Liedel
Originally from Oregon, Emily has lived in California, Switzerland, Russia and Spain before landing in New York City. Her most important life goal is to fluently speak all of the official languages of the United Nations – there are six, including English. She currently speaks Spanish, Russian and German and loves that she has the opportunity to speak all of those languages regularly in New York, both on the job as a tour guide as well as during everyday life in a city where almost half of the population speaks a language at home other than English.
Emily’s other passion is flamenco, and she studies both dance and guitar. If she ever gets tired of being a tour guide, she plans to open a flamenco studio. Emily lives in a beautiful Harlem brownstone and she especially loves showing people around her neighborhood.
