Staten Island is the most non-New York of our 5 Boroughs. Suburban, enormous and a large part former-garbage dump, most visitors only see it when they look past the Statue of Liberty. Our tour of the island can be tailored to meet YOUR interests. It should include a ride on the Staten Island ferry across the harbor past Lady Liberty and Ellis Island. Then we could head anywhere!


We’ll travel by vehicle to explore historic Sailors Snug Harbor, The Chinese Scholars Garden, The Noble Maritime Collection, the Secret Garden and the Staten Island Botanical Garden including its Butterfly Pond. Historic Richmondtown contains dozens of restored historic buildings and costumed craftsmen and villagers and Staten Island even has its own Little Sri Lankan community with great food. Want to down a stein of beer? How about Killmeyer’s Old Bavaria Inn? What about a Roman Catholic Grotto celebrating Our Lady of Mt. Carmel? Also on the island. So much to see in Staten Island, all of it truly an adventure.
