CALLING ALL GEOGRAPHICAL GEEKS AND NEW YORK KNOW-IT-ALLS!
Come to the Queens Museum of Art on Friday, February 10th from 7-10pm to participate in the world’s ONLY geographical trivia-based game night involving the world’s largest panorama – The Panorama of the City of New York! Participants will compete in teams of 10 (more or less ok!) to test their knowledge of New York City geography.
Team members will be asked questions ranging from easy to darn near difficult as LUNY Laser Wielding Assistants will highlight various NYC landmarks, bridges, neighborhoods parks and more, along with audio clue. Admission is $10, which includes a free beer for those of drinking age, and ALL proceeds will go to support the City Reliquary Museum in Williamsburg, Brooklyn dedicated to collecting NYC ephemera. Whats more, our wonderful friends at the Brooklyn Brewery will be providing tasty suds, available by donation. There will be a free shuttle travelling between the QMA and the Mets-Willets Point 7 stop.
The winning team will have their name inscribed on a trophy, which will be kept at the Queens Museum for future Panorama Challenges.
