We were proud to partner with The Strand Bookstore – 18 Miles of Books – with a Greenwich Village Literary Walking Tour! on Sunday, July 21st, from 2 – 4pm for a Historic and Poetic walking tour throughout Greenwich Village. Learn about the stomping grounds of Edgar Allan Poe, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac, Bob Dylan and more while meandering through the neighborhood, listening to poetry and prose. Learn a little about everything from the Lost Generation to the Triangle Shirtwaist fire and see historic landmarks such as the Washington Mews and the Golden Swan.
All who attended the tour received a complimentary $5 gift card upon arrival at the Strand at the close of the tour.
